Danilo Radenkovic – born and bred in Berlin, found his passion in the hotels of his family. From early years he was intrigued by the diverse cooking styles and techniques.
He soon began his apprenticeship in the Hilton of Berlin – and soon after successfully finishing his study he started working seasons all over Europe – a couple of years in Switzerland, Portugal and Spain to name his main experiences. Dan has worked for many well-known Michelin-starred head chefs as well as working as a private chef.
In 2013 he left Europe to start his journey for a couple of months in the Far North in a Luxury Golf Resort in Matauri Bay – but he didn’t leave New Zealand ever since!
He helped Zane Grey’s Restaurants and Bars having this extraordinary and fast success. Dan directed the menu design in a passionate way – team effort is a huge importance for him.
He has experienced many different traditions whilst travelling the world visiting central America, South-East Asia or the South Pacific. Dan loves exploring more to continuously improve his knowledge and become better every single day.
